Nick Wayne wanted the rematch and Chris Jericho did not make him wait.
They stood in the ring on Collision after that September 16 Dynamite match. Jericho was still hot about Wayne going after him once the bell had already done its job. Wayne came out in the suit, talked like a man who thinks he already belongs, and pointed at Grand Slam France in October.
Jericho said yes. See you in Paris, kid.
That is the whole booking right there. Veteran who has heard every young guy swear it will be different this time. They already had one match. Wayne did not like how it ended. Jericho did not like what happened after it.
Right now this is the only match announced for Grand Slam France. It does not need a pile of names around it yet. Paris is going to understand this one the second they lock up.
October will settle this.
