TNA Wrestling is once again using its platform to give back, renewing its partnership with Operation H.O.P.E. ahead of the company’s return to El Paso, Texas this December.
TNA announced Monday that it will once again work alongside the El Paso-based nonprofit for several charitable initiatives surrounding its December 18 and 19 live events at the El Paso County Coliseum.
Operation H.O.P.E., which stands for Helping Other People Endure, was co-founded by Angel Gomez and works to assist families and individuals throughout El Paso, Las Cruces and surrounding communities in Texas and New Mexico during difficult times.
A major part of the partnership will see the return of TNA’s annual Toy Drive.
Beginning November 16, fans and members of the community will be able to donate toys at participating businesses throughout the El Paso area. The drive will continue through TNA’s two nights at the El Paso County Coliseum before the collected toys are formally presented to Operation H.O.P.E. on Sunday, December 20.
The partnership marks the second consecutive year TNA and Operation H.O.P.E. have joined forces for the Toy Drive.
TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva said bringing the partnership back was an easy decision, adding that the company is proud to continue working with the organization.
For TNA, the December weekend will also mark a return to a city that has quickly developed into a strong market for the promotion. The company drew sold-out crowds during its three-night run in El Paso last December.
A loaded roster is expected for this year’s return, with Jeff and Matt Hardy, Nic and Ryan Nemeth, Moose, AJ Francis, Frankie Kazarian, Brian Myers, Mustafa Ali, Leon Slater, Ricky Sosa and KC Navarro among those announced.
The Knockouts division will also be represented by names including Indi Hartwell, Elayna Black, Xia Brookside, Alisha Edwards and Tasha Steelz.
TNA’s El Paso events take place Friday, December 18 and Saturday, December 19 at the El Paso County Coliseum, with both nights featuring Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC.
Tickets for both events are currently on sale.
TNA’s renewed partnership with Operation H.O.P.E. continues an effort that extends beyond what happens inside the ring, bringing the company and its fans together to support families in the El Paso community during the holiday season.
