WWE Raw: Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer Set to Battle for Liv Morgan's Next Championship Challenge

Liv Morgan might be preparing for her upcoming Crown Jewel encounter with Chelsea Green, but WWE isn't allowing the Women's World Champion to focus exclusively on November 7.

Because there's another championship opportunity developing.

And two women with unfinished business are preparing to fight for it.

WWE has officially announced that Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer will meet in a No. 1 Contender's Match during Monday's October 26 episode of Raw in Fresno, California.

The winner will earn an opportunity to challenge Morgan for the Women's World Championship.

And considering the history between these three women, that's an interesting situation.

Morgan regained the championship at Money in the Bank on October 10, defeating Vaquer and Lynch in a Triple Threat Match.

Vaquer had previously reclaimed the title from Morgan during a WWE live event in Chile on September 12, making the championship's recent history particularly complicated.

Now Lynch and Vaquer have another opportunity to move themselves back into contention.

But what interests me most is how differently these women approach their characters.

Becky Lynch understands how to command an audience.

She's developed a recognizable identity through years of character evolution, championship opportunities, and major rivalries.

Vaquer brings a different kind of intensity.

Her presentation relies heavily on physical confidence, aggression, and the ability to make her offense look convincing.

And that's an important quality.

Because professional wrestling isn't simply about how many moves someone can perform.

It's about making those moves mean something.

It's about convincing the audience that the person delivering the offense is dangerous and that the person receiving it is genuinely fighting to survive.

Both women are capable of accomplishing that, but they approach the challenge differently.

And those differences could make Monday's encounter particularly interesting.

Meanwhile, Morgan has another situation developing around her Judgment Day allies.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has also announced that Women's Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez will face IYO SKY in a non-title match.

A victory for SKY could position her for an opportunity at Rodriguez's championship.

That matchup follows the increasingly complicated developments surrounding Morgan, Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez, SKY, and Chelsea Green.

And I appreciate that WWE is giving several women interconnected motivations rather than limiting the division to one championship rivalry at a time.

But there's a responsibility attached to that approach.

The audience needs to understand who wants what, why those opportunities matter, and how each development affects the larger championship picture.

Otherwise, interconnected storytelling can become unnecessarily confusing.

Monday's Raw will also feature Bayley against Lyra Valkyria in a No Disqualification Match, along with Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable teaming with Dragon Lee against Big Cass and Ethan Page.

But for me, the women's championship implications are the most interesting part of the announced lineup.

Morgan has the championship.

Lynch and Vaquer want it.

Rodriguez has a title of her own to protect.

And with Crown Jewel approaching, the possibilities are becoming considerably more complicated.

That's the kind of competition that can strengthen a division.

Provided the eventual outcomes justify the stories being told...
