TNA iMPACT Results October 29, 2026: syX Defeats The Hardys, Amazing Red Retains and Shayna Baszler Targets Indi Hartwell

TNA Wrestling returned to AMC on Thursday, October 29, from the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama, with two championships on the line, growing tensions between established factions, and a particularly unsettling Halloween-themed main event. With Destination X approaching on November 15, several competitors were looking to establish momentum. Others were apparently more interested in destroying whatever relationships they had left. And considering the personalities involved, perhaps that shouldn't come as a surprise.

The evening featured successful championship defenses from Amazing Red and M by Elegance, another destructive performance from Special Agent 0, and a Slaughterhouse syX Match that saw The Hardys suffer another defeat against Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw.

M by Elegance Retains as Mr. Elegance Quits

The evening opened with M by Elegance defending the TNA Knockouts Television Championship against Jada Stone in a match featuring a ten-minute time limit.

Stone brought her usual explosiveness, using her speed and aerial offense to keep the champion uncomfortable. M responded with power, repeatedly slowing the challenger down and preventing Stone from establishing a consistent rhythm.

However, the real story unfolded outside the ropes.

After Stone delivered a Spanish Fly from the steps, Heather by Elegance interfered with a potential three-count. M subsequently demanded that Mr. Elegance hand over her championship belt, presumably for reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with fair competition.

Instead, Mr. Elegance refused and announced that he was quitting The Elegance Brand.

M recovered sufficiently to deliver the Reverse Crunchie and put Stone away, retaining her championship despite the unexpected departure.

As someone who understands how quickly locker room alliances can unravel, I find the developing fractures within The Elegance Brand considerably more interesting than the championship retention itself. Winning matches is one thing. Maintaining control over the people surrounding you is another.

Winner: M by Elegance retains the TNA Knockouts Television Championship.

Special Agent 0 Destroys BDE and Rich Swann

Special Agent 0, also known as Zer0, made an emphatic statement against BDE.

Although BDE attempted to use his speed and aerial offense to create opportunities, Zer0's size and physicality eventually overwhelmed him. A devastating Chokebomb secured the pinfall.

Unfortunately for BDE, the bell apparently wasn't sufficient encouragement for Zer0 to stop.

The powerhouse delivered another Chokebomb after the match, prompting Rich Swann to intervene. Swann received the same treatment, while security personnel also found themselves on the receiving end of Zer0's destruction.

There are dominant performances, and then there are performances designed to make an entire locker room reconsider its career choices.

Winner: Special Agent 0 defeats BDE.

Amazing Red Retains the X-Division Championship Against Cedric Alexander

One of the evening's most compelling matches featured TNA X-Division Champion Amazing Red defending against Cedric Alexander.

Red's return to championship prominence has been one of TNA's notable developments following Bound for Glory, and Alexander presented a legitimate threat to that momentum.

Alexander repeatedly attempted to ground the champion, using his strength, technical ability, and methodical offense to neutralize Red's explosiveness. A German suplex, Death Valley Driver, and Michinoku Driver all helped Alexander maintain control at different points.

However, Red refused to surrender his championship.

The champion rallied with impressive aerial offense, including a DDT from the second rope, before ultimately connecting with Code Red to secure the victory.

From a wrestler's perspective, this was an interesting contrast in approaches. Alexander understood that allowing Red to dictate the pace would be dangerous. Unfortunately for the challenger, understanding your opponent's strengths and successfully eliminating them are two entirely different accomplishments.

Amazing Red continues to demonstrate that experience and timing remain invaluable inside the squared circle.

Winner: Amazing Red retains the TNA X-Division Championship.

Shayna Baszler Challenges Indi Hartwell for Destination X

TNA Knockouts World Champion Indi Hartwell reflected on her championship journey during an emotional video package celebrating the fulfillment of her childhood ambitions.

Unfortunately, sentimentality wasn't particularly high on Shayna Baszler's agenda.

Following the presentation, Baszler and Zoey Serrano disrupted the broadcast, with Baszler announcing that she would challenge Hartwell for the Knockouts World Championship at Destination X.

This presents an intriguing contrast.

Hartwell represents determination, perseverance, and the emotional fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Baszler represents a calculated, submission-oriented threat who has built her reputation on making opponents uncomfortable.

As a wrestler, I appreciate the danger presented by someone with Baszler's approach. She doesn't necessarily need to overpower an opponent for an entire match. She simply needs the right opening.

Hartwell has earned her championship. Now she faces an opponent determined to take it away.

AJ Francis Defeats John Skyler

AJ Francis continued his momentum with a victory over John Skyler, although the circumstances surrounding the finish were anything but straightforward.

With Expressions accompanying Francis and Mila Moore supporting Skyler, outside distractions quickly became part of the equation.

Skyler showed resilience and delivered several impressive offensive sequences, but his attention shifted after Francis knocked him into Moore on the apron.

Francis capitalized on the distraction, connecting with TFL and Down Payment to secure the pinfall.

There is a reason experienced wrestlers repeatedly emphasize maintaining focus. You can execute an excellent match for several minutes, but one moment of divided attention can erase everything you've accomplished.

Winner: AJ Francis defeats John Skyler.

The System Continues to Fracture

Cedric Alexander's unsuccessful championship opportunity only intensified the existing disagreements within The System.

Bear Bronson confronted Eddie Edwards backstage, questioning his leadership and challenging him to a match the following week.

The stakes were particularly significant: Bronson wanted the authority to call the shots for The System if he emerged victorious.

Professional wrestling factions often present themselves as unified forces, but leadership disputes have a tendency to expose underlying resentments.

And once those disagreements reach the ring, rebuilding trust becomes considerably more difficult.

Leon Slater and Trey Miguel Prepare for Destination X

TNA World Champion Leon Slater addressed his upcoming championship defense against Trey Miguel in a segment built around mutual respect and personal ambition.

Slater reflected on his journey to becoming champion, while Miguel discussed his own pursuit of the opportunity that has eluded him for years.

Both competitors acknowledged their similarities, but neither appeared interested in sacrificing his championship ambitions for the other.

The two eventually shook hands, setting the stage for their November 15 encounter.

Not every compelling championship rivalry requires personal hatred. Sometimes the most meaningful conflicts involve two talented wrestlers pursuing the same dream, knowing only one can leave with the prize.

Elijah Defeats Ryan Nemeth

Elijah squared off against one-half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions, Ryan Nemeth, in another singles encounter.

Nemeth attempted to frustrate his opponent through questionable tactics, including the use of clothing to apply illegal chokeholds.

Elijah eventually fought back and connected with Highwayman's Farewell to secure the victory.

Following the match, Nic Nemeth attacked Elijah from behind. However, Elijah recovered and smashed his guitar over Ryan Nemeth's head, forcing Nic to retreat with his brother.

Apparently, the Nemeth brothers learned that bringing questionable tactics to a fight doesn't necessarily mean they'll be the only ones leaving a lasting impression.

Winner: Elijah defeats Ryan Nemeth.

syX Defeats The Hardys by Knockout in the Slaughterhouse syX Match

The evening's Halloween-themed main event featured Matt and Jeff Hardy entering the disturbing world of syX, represented by Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw.

The Slaughterhouse syX Match continued a rivalry that had already seen Sawyer and Shaw defeat The Hardys at Bound for Glory.

For Matt and Jeff, this was another opportunity to confront the unsettling duo and reclaim some momentum.

Instead, syX emerged victorious once again, defeating The Hardys by knockout.

The result is particularly significant considering The Hardys' extensive experience in unconventional matches. Few teams have built careers around embracing chaos quite like Matt and Jeff, yet Sawyer and Shaw have repeatedly demonstrated their ability to operate within that environment.

That makes syX increasingly difficult to dismiss as simply another bizarre pairing.

The Hardys have survived decades of extraordinary punishment and countless dangerous rivalries. However, experience doesn't guarantee immunity from a new generation of opponents willing to push boundaries.

Winners: syX (Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw) defeat The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) by knockout.

Additional Developments From TNA iMPACT

Elsewhere, Harley Hudson accepted an invitation from The Righteous to stand alongside them the following week, while Fire N' Flava reunited as Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz challenged Shotzi and Allie.

Ricky Sosa announced that he would represent Belgium in the World X-Cup at Destination X, with Fabian Aichner confirming his participation for Italy.

Brian Johnson was introduced as an observer appointed by TNA's Board of Directors to monitor Director of Operations Daria Rae following her suspension.

Meanwhile, Mustafa Ali warned Frankie Kazarian that Avery Styles could eventually betray him, adding another layer of uncertainty to an already complicated situation.

Final Thoughts

Thursday's TNA iMPACT wasn't simply about championship defenses and match results. It was about the growing consequences of ambition, fractured alliances, and rivalries that refuse to disappear.

Amazing Red continues to reinforce his position atop the X-Division. M by Elegance retained her championship but lost an ally. The System appears increasingly unstable, and Shayna Baszler has made her intentions toward Indi Hartwell unmistakably clear.

Meanwhile, syX secured another significant victory over The Hardys, raising an important question: how much longer can Matt and Jeff allow this rivalry to continue without finding a way to turn the tables?

With Destination X approaching, TNA has several interesting stories developing simultaneously. The challenge now is ensuring those stories receive satisfying payoffs.

Because in professional wrestling, creating chaos is easy.

Making that chaos mean something? That's where the real storytelling begins.
