Dragon Gate Honors PAC With Emotional Tribute at Korakuen Hall

The wrestling world continues to remember PAC.

Dragon Gate honored Benjamin Satterley, known to wrestling fans around the world as PAC, during its October 2 event at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. The roster surrounded the ring for a ten-bell salute as Dragon Kid — PAC’s longtime friend, mentor, partner and occasional rival — stood inside the ring holding a photograph of him.

But the tribute didn’t end there.

Dragon Kid later teamed with Naruki Doi, Susumu Yokosuka and Luis Mante in an eight-man tag team match, with the group making their entrance to PAC’s former Dragon Gate theme music. After their victory, Dragon Kid kissed PAC’s photograph and raised it in the ring.

Kzy also carried PAC with him into the night’s main event, wearing a PAC shirt as he entered for his Open the Dream Gate Championship defense against Yoshiki Kato.

Dragon Gate was an important chapter in PAC’s career long before many American wrestling fans knew his name. He first competed for the promotion in 2007 and eventually captured the Open the Dream Gate, Brave Gate, Twin Gate and Triangle Gate Championships. Following his departure from WWE, Dragon Gate was also where PAC chose to make his return to wrestling in 2018.

Eight years to the day after that return, PAC was once again part of a Dragon Gate show at Korakuen Hall.

This time, they carried him with them.
