AEW All Out 2026: Live Results, Major Moments & Fallout From Chicago

AEW returned to the iconic wrestling city of Chicago Saturday night for All Out Buy In 2026, with the NOW Arena hosting one of the company’s biggest cards of the year.

Will Ospreay defending the AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley may be the advertised main event, but the night has already produced a major return, multiple championship defenses — and injuries bound...

Samoa Joe Returns

Before the main pay-per-view even began, AEW delivered its first major development of the night. Jack Perry defeated Katsuyori Shibata during the Tailgate Brawl before once again demanding that Samoa Joe confront him. Be careful what you wish for am I right?

Well, this time, Joe answered.

Joe returned alongside members of The Opps and entered the ring for a face-to-face confrontation with Perry. Perry demanded and Joe made Jack regret his decision almost immediately. Perry attempted to force a handshake, eventually shoving Joe when he refused. Joe responded by headbutting Perry and walking away. Only time will tell if Perry will let the proverbial sleeping dog lie. But knowing Perry? Yeah, this is only the beginning.

Joe had been absent from AEW television since May while filming the third season of Twisted Metal, making the confrontation an immediate continuation of Perry's recent attempts to draw him back into AEW. Well Perry, mission accomplished.

Andrade Survives PAC

The main card opened with Andrade El Ídolo defending the AEW National Championship against PAC.

The match mixed high-level athletic exchanges with considerably more theatrical moments, including Andrade repeatedly teasing — and eventually removing — his pants and stopping during the match for an interaction with a fan at ringside. The stop and go style of this match directly correlates to not only their size as competitors but also their ability to slow things down to read each other.

PAC eventually trapped Andrade after a very physical bout, but the champion managed to leverage PAC's shoulders onto the mat and steal the three-count in pure Andrade style much t the chagrin of Marina Shafir who accompanied PAC.

Result: Andrade El Ídolo defeated PAC to retain the AEW National Championship.

Steven Borden Match Stopped Following Injury

The atmosphere inside NOW Arena changed during the tag-team match featuring Darby Allin and Steven Borden against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight. Borden — the son of Sting — and Knight simultaneously came off opposite turnbuckles and collided in midair in a literal coast to coast explosion. Borden landed hard, and officials immediately entered the ring to check on him. The match was stopped by the medical team. It appears as though his head smashed and bounced off the canvas. An unfortunately common event in Pro Wrestling which further shows the necessity of neck strengthening and tucking your chin. Both of which are non-negotiable as a Pro Wrestler.

AEW reacted professionally as they moved the cameras away from the ring as Borden received treatment, while the crowd became noticeably quiet and the commentary team appeared shaken by what had happened. Borden was subsequently placed on a backboard, moved to a gurney and taken from ringside.

Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight are now the new Number 1 Contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Later in the broadcast, Tony Schiavone provided the update: Borden was conscious and responsive and had been transported to a local hospital. Schiavone later told the live crowd that Borden was responsive, speaking with doctors and had undergone a CAT scan.

The crowd responded by chanting his name...

Persephone Retains the TBS Championship

Persephone's open challenge was answered by Dani Luna. Dani Luna answered the open challenge of Persephone who was accompanied b Britt Baker. I feel as though Dani Luna cod have been given a better open, it appeared a little cold and with her talent there could be something there for AEW. Perhaps on the big screens a rollodex of sorts shuffles through potential competitors before landing on Dani Luna and her stats come up like a reading card would or when picking a character in a video game. Think Mortal Kombat and then her music hits and BOOM! I don't know, just an idea off the top of my head, there's potential there but I digress...

Luckily this wasn't a typical jobber throw away enhancement match. Persephone and Luna went tit-for-tat earning some in ring time with Dani Luna showing up to give Persephone a good run for her money. But as we shall know there can only be one winner.

Britt Baker as expected lived up to her AEW reputation and became a factor at ringside. Persephone capitalized moments later despite a valiant effort by Dani Luna. She's a gem.

Result: Persephone defeated Dani Luna to retain the AEW TBS Championship.

Kazuchika Okada and Tommaso Ciampa delivered one of All Out’s strongest straight-up wrestling matches.

Okada and Ciampa were determined to drag out the version of “The Rainmaker” he had specifically asked to face. Ciampa continually frustrated the International Champion, countering the Rainmaker and hammering Okada with knees while repeatedly threatening to turn his first AEW pay-per-view championship opportunity into an upset. Okada, meanwhile, remained every bit as arrogant as he was dangerous, even taking time to antagonize Ciampa’s family at ringside. Down to it's bones this was THE Okada and THE Ciampa! This match had me from bell to bell. No silly gimmicks. No lack of respect by no-selling the entire match. No filler. This bout could easily represent the lifeblood that keeps Pro Wrestling alive today. I said what I said!

I've always held immense respect for Ciampa dating back to my beginnings on the indies of the East Coast. I've learned so much from Ciampa over the years and continuously felt myself improve from his critiques and insights. So to see him in his full potential as he was tonight is a story well-told. And for Okada, I came to know his work during my time at ROH while while they worked with NJPW. He and Shinsuke Nakamura really stuck out to me as respectful and fun to work with. Their in-ring talent and brains for story-telling were, and clearly after tonight, are still top notch in my opinion.

This all out (pun intended) battle did not disappoint me as it came to a head with one of the most memorable moments of the night. Okada approached Ciampa’s daughter Willow and appeared to offer her a high five—only to flip her off instead. After a quick pause to look at her mother seeking permission, Willow promptly answered with two middle fingers of her own, earning a reaction from the crowd and adding a wonderfully personal edge to the fight.

Back in the ring, Ciampa continued pushing the champion, landing Angel’s Wings and surviving long enough to make an International Championship change feel genuinely possible. Okada brought NJPW style to AEW sand Ciampa was like hold my beer, and proceeded to answer EVERYHING Okada had to give. Ultimately, though, Ciampa got exactly what he had been asking for: The Rainmaker. After weathering Ciampa’s offense and finding his opening, Okada connected with his trademark dropkick before finally landing the Rainmaker to put Ciampa away and retain the AEW International Championship. Ciampa left without the title, but the performance accomplished something almost as valuable—he went toe-to-toe with Kazuchika Okada on one of AEW’s biggest stages and looked completely at home doing it.

I eagerly watched every second of this match and still wanted more!

Brawling Birds Survive a Chicago Street Fight

Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor put the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships on the line against Divine Dominion's Megan Bayne and Lena Kross in a violent Chicago Street Fight worthy of the name!

The match escalated with chairs, a barricade, a barbed-wire board and eventually thumbtacks and more. There will be blood! Oh yes, there will be blood! Guys, I seriously LOVE tag team wrestling!

I will say that AEW did a good job of placing the props the ladies needed tonight, which is a bigger deal than you may think considering time is money, and searching for your props is wasted time. Each ladies in this tag team street fight took their fair share of punishment. They dished and they took in equal measure. Huge kudos to Megan Bayne, as soon as I see someone sorting that much white in a match like this, I automatically know they're willing to bleed for it!

Both teams work well together and I thoroughly enjoyed watch their story unfold. In my opinion they did not disappoint.

In the closing sequence, Hayter struck Kross with a chain-wrapped fist before clotheslining her onto the tacks. Windsor followed by securing the pinfall. I saw Kross's mouthy moving right before the pin as if saying pin me finish this or something to that effect so hopefully she's okay. The crack sound that was hideously loud when Kross was struck was a bit disconcerting especially after seeing her asking to be pinned.

Result: The Brawling Birds defeated Divine Dominion to retain the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships.

Swerve Strickland and The New Level Retain

I'll preface this by saying that I don't care what anyone says, I love the trio of Swerve and New Level! The rivalry between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page as expected, erupted again during the AEW World Trios Championship match. Swerve teamed with Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed of The New Level against Hangman, Bandido and Brody King. And I'll also say I absolutely love Bandido or 'Brodido' as well as Rush back even before ROH.

The match tonight repeatedly returned to the unresolved hostility between Swerve and Hangman whenever the two found themselves across from one another. We saw lots of teamwork and boat loads of chaos between the two trios. I love the stories and possible move combos that come from tag team wrestling and this match was no exception whatsoever!

Late in the match, Hangman attempted a Buckshot Lariat, only for Swerve to pull Creed into its path. Bandido then appeared poised to hit Swerve, but Swerve escaped and gave an answer of his own for the victory.

Result: Swerve Strickland, Kofi Kingston & Austin Creed defeated Hangman Adam Page, Bandido & Brody King to retain the AEW World Trios Championships.

More importantly, AEW once again put Swerve and Hangman's rivalry directly in front of the audience, suggesting there may still be unfinished business between two men whose history has become one of AEW's defining rivalries. And to be honest, I want to see what Strickland does next!

Thekla Earns a World Championship Match

Willow Nightingale and Thekla battled for the right to challenge Mercedes Moné for the AEW Women's World Championship at WrestleDream in October.

Thekla repeatedly targeted Willow's injured hand throughout the match. I would have loved to that strategy explored more throughout as a calculated target of attack. It's old school and the possibilities for story there are only limited by one's own creativity. I d enjoy seeing The Toxic Spider show her fangs so to speak. I can envision writing numerous vignettes for her, she's money just waiting to be made! In the end Willow fought her heart out while connecting with the crowd the at only Willow can, but it just wasn't enough this time around. Thekla threw everything she had and then some I the winning effort to beat Willow Nightingale including the aid of some familiar faces from the pre show...

Then Sisters of Sin arrived.

Julia Hart distracted Willow while Skye Blue struck Nightingale with the Artist of Stardom Championship behind the referee's back. The interference didn't go completely according to plan, however, as Hart subsequently attempted to attack Willow and accidentally struck Thekla instead. Oops! Willow attempted to capitalize, but her injured hand gave out. Thekla immediately attacked the hand before delivering her final blow for the victory.

Result: Thekla defeated Willow Nightingale.

The victory officially earned Thekla an AEW Women's World Championship match at WrestleDream. Mercedes Moné appeared afterward, standing on the entrance ramp with the championship raised as she stared down her next challenger. This somewhat split the crowd's focus and could have been done in a way t create a bigger moment of tention but at least The CEO made an appearance to set the vibe in motion for October.

Mercedes Moné vs. Thekla is now set for WrestleDream in Orlando.

Young Bucks Make History in TLC Match

Then came one of the biggest pops of the night for me personally. Watching the crowd tonight sing Cope's theme song was surreal and we just had to join in. It almost felt like we were getting that early 2000's Monday Night Raw vibe back. That vibe. The energy. EVERTHING! There's nothing quite like that both experiencing it and watching it live.

Christian Cage and Adam Copeland defended the AEW World Tag Team Championships against FTR and The Young Bucks in a three-way TLC match.

And in true 'Tables Ladders and Chairs' fashion, it quickly became chaos!

Tables, chairs and ladders surrounded the ring as all six men took increasingly dangerous risks in pursuit of the championships. There were near misses. There was blood. And there was a lot of limbs flying here, there, and everywhere!

Matt Jackson delivered a 450 Splash through a table. FTR hit an assisted piledriver on Copeland on the apron. The Bucks answered with a Meltzer Driver on Dax Harwood.

Stokely Hathaway attempted to interfere by throwing powder into Christian Cage's eyes — only for Copeland to send Hathaway off a ladder and crashing through a table a payback for the low blow.

Matt and Nick Jackson later launched themselves from a ladder outside the ring with Frog Splashes that drove Copeland and Harwood through tables. Not to mention a wayward ladder narrowly missing a fan courtesy of a broken table and the way it fortuitously broke.

The closing moments saw all six men fighting among three ladders.

Christian desperately attempted to remain near the championships, but the Bucks hit a BTE Trigger from the top of the ladder. That created the opening. Matt and Nick climbed. And pulled down the championships...

Result: The Young Bucks defeated Christian Cage & Adam Copeland and FTR to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

The victory gives Matt and Nick Jackson their fourth AEW World Tag Team Championship reign — the first team in company history to accomplish that feat.

It's also a result that immediately reshapes AEW's tag-team division.

Will Ospreay Finally Defeats Jon Moxley

AEW World Champion Will Ospreay entered the All Out main event with something to prove and a strategy in which to do it. Standing across the ring was Jon Moxley — Ospreay's former mentor and a man he had yet to defeat. Ospreay made the significance of the match clear before he even entered the arena. An that tension could be felt.

His elaborate entrance included a live violinist, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag-inspired imagery and footage of Ospreay outside NOW Arena setting a Death Riders flag on fire.

Then the fight began.

Moxley slowed Ospreay down early, eventually busting the champion open and repeatedly attacking his neck. A good strategy if you consider what it's like to d battle with an experienced high-flyer with the caliber of Ospreay. Slow them down. Disrupt their flow. Keep them off-balance and grounded. Moxley understood the assignment befitting his experience as both Ospreay's mentor and his extensive wrestling background. A Gotch-style piledriver left Ospreay clutching his neck as officials checked whether he could continue.

But the match soon became about much more than Ospreay and Moxley.

Marina Shafir got her hands on Ospreay much the same way she did earlier in the night in PAC vs Andrade. Wheeler Yuta attempted to interfere. Francesco Akira and Mike Bailey rushed in to defend Ospreay, while PAC entered the fight carrying a briefcase.

Then Andrade El Ídolo appeared and took PAC out. The chaos continued when Shafir struck Ospreay with the briefcase, seemingly handing Moxley the championship.

Ospreay kicked out.

Shafir attacked the referee, bringing Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter into the fight. The ringside area erupted as the various factions surrounding Ospreay and Moxley collided.

Eventually, though, everyone else disappeared from the equation. Chaos simmering on the extinguished pilot light.

It came back to Ospreay and Moxley.

Moxley hit Ospreay repeatedly, but the champion continued to survive. He then trapped Ospreay in a choke hold. Ospreay's arm nearly dropped. Instead, he fought free. Moxley kicking out of everything the champ was executing. And Moxley continued to kick out. He knew exactly what was coming.

Ospreay charged. He hit!

One.

Two.

Three!

Result: Will Ospreay defeated Jon Moxley to retain the AEW World Championship.

After everything that had happened between them, however, All Out didn't end with another fight. Moxley picked up the AEW World Championship and approached Ospreay. The arena quieted. Waiting on the cusp like us as we waiting to see another fight...

Then Moxley handed the championship to him. He extended his hand. Ospreay accepted. For one night at least, the war ended with respect. An interesting choice considering the war these two men just survived. Albeit together. And perhaps therein lies the respect...
