Roman Reigns on WWE Future: Loose Ends and Another Possible Run

Roman Reigns is not talking like a man packing a bag.

He sat down with Mark Elibert at Complex and said he still sees years of story left. Not because he needs the spotlight every week. Because the storytelling bothers him when the edges do not line up. He called it a little OCD. Continuity. Symmetry. Loose ends. Logic gaps. That is how a veteran talks when he has been the center of the company long enough to feel every missing piece.

He figures there are still a couple to a few years of those gaps worth going back to. The young guys growing into the main event will create the matches that did not exist yet. What happens if one of them has to stand across from the Tribal Chief five years from now. That question only works if Roman stays ready.

He said it himself. If he stays in shape and does his end of the job, there could be another run nobody has even mapped out.

That tracks with how he has been used. He is not on television every Friday. When he does show up, the room changes. He is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion right now and he defends it against LA Knight at Money in the Bank. That is not a farewell tour match. That is a guy who still thinks the title picture has unfinished business.

I respect that kind of honesty. Most people in this business either pretend they have twenty years left or they start writing their own ending too early. Roman is standing in the middle. He knows he is closer to the last chapter than the first. He also knows the last chapter is not written yet.
